Hey guys, I got a 2001 Toyota 4Runner two-wheel drive forresr Green 197,000 mi runs like a top. So i had tHE check engine light on and the track light was on and the VSC trac light was on so I had O'Reilly's run the code and it came back as an o two sensor. I went to a junkyard pulled an O2 sensor off of another Toyota. I soaked it in mass airflow cleaner for a night and then installed on my 4runner. After running for about 5 minutes all the lights went out and it runs even better. Almost doubling the mileage I was getting before. So yes you can clean an O2 sensor

Cool, but here in the NE I would never go to a yard to pull one. Low probability success with the corrosion we see.
