I've recently gone into the money pit deal after I decided to rebuild the front end on a 2000 4runner.

One of the problems I run into is know what part to buy. And especially where the hell is it made? Most of the China parts are crap it appears. Hell even made in the USA can be a crap shoot.

I found this website which has buku parts:

    https://www.stockwiseauto.com/

The parts have the country of origin listed. And their prices are just a little bit higher than rockauto. Just a little bit higher. To me it's worth doing business with them since at least I know where the parts are made. For one of the parts I was going to buy (AC/Delco) I found out it was made in China. And it was high dollar. Screw that. I bought Moog instead because the Moog was made in Taiwan. And a lot cheaper.

Anyhow thought some of you might be interested.

Also be aware - parts from the same company can be made in China on one batch and made in Mexico the next batch.

Stockwise keeps the descriptions up to date. You'll know what you're getting.
