    This is a long shot:

So last week I installed an LED tailgate garnish on my 4R (similar to this):

After about a week, it has quit working. I've checked the wires and everything looks to be ok (as far I can tell). I'm wondering if this particular wiring harness has given out:

If anyone can maybe point me to where I can buy a replacement, I would greatly appreciate it.

Unplug the harness and plug in a 12v power supply to see if it light up. If it does, hard wire to the brake light. If it does not light up, there is something burnt out on the board.

That looks to be a very basic wiring harness. Wires are much simpler than the board they are connected to. My guess is the board for the light up lettering is toast.

like @wingo said, track it down to the harness itself. It looks pretty cut and dry and you could probably re wire it yourself. as long as the connectors are good.
