Need advice on fixing the rear sag on a 2023 TRD Pro. I've added about 500lbs of constant weight to the rear of my 4Runner and it sags a decent bit. I would like to fix the sag without an entire suspension upgrade. Is there any way to adjust the preload on the Fox shocks that come stock? If not, could I get away with just getting stiffer springs? Recommendations on springs?

Any recommendations? I saw Ironman 4x4 has a medium load spring for up to 660lbs and I could get the rear set for $180 right now. But curious what springs other people may have/recommend.

New rear springs would be the way to go. If you haven't lifted the front, you'll have to be careful about how much lift you put into the rear. If you bring the rear up too high, then you'll feel compelled to lift the front, and the stock Pro front coilovers can't get raised up.

Here's all the Dobinsons options: https://exitoffroad.com/product/dobinsons-rear-coil-spring-options-for-toyota-5th-gen-4runner/

If you run the C59-505, they would squat down to about 1/2" of lift with the added weight you've got. The C59-325 would be about 1" of lift with the added weight.

Thank you for the warning about the front! I'm thinking maybe the 505's. I have about 144lbs of varying weight. I added a long range fuel tank, steel bumper, rear tire swing out, and ladder which accounts for 514lbs total, but 144lbs of that is weight added by just fuel in the extra tank. So depending on how full or empty that tank is, I get a bit of variance. I'll have to measure my sag amount when the tank is empty to make sure I'm not bringing it up too much.

I've been happy with OME (Old Man Emu) rear springs for being able to balance comfort plus support for weight and adding lift.
They have charts somewhere i looked at years ago.

I've heard good things about Dobinsons too though just no personal experience. They appear to have good range of options.

That's true, ARB run a much stronger spring rate for their lower lift heights. They run a 260lb rate instead of Dobinsons 220lb rate, so unloaded the OME's really aren't good, but with a suitable amount of weight, they work out well.

These would also work, and maintain about 1-1.25" of lift with the added weight.

you cant adjust rear shocks for height. Go with an aftermaket spring for your needs as there are so many out there to choose from.
