i had the 1000ft kit on my Titan and i could start it across a crowded parking lot. The regular kit goes off your stock remote signal. The 1K and 2K kits give you an additional antennae.

So, my personal opinion only, is that the app is not needed. FWIW.

If you keep hot batteries in your stock remote fob, the range with the Accessorides system is pretty decent. I have it on my 21 Venture. I can trigger my starter from the 3rd floor of my office building out in the parking lot. I don’t have the 1000’ kit or the app and am completely satisfied. You can add the long range kit later - pretty sure.

I have the factory remote start app on my wife’s 22 Limited and rarely use it. We use the fob mostly on the Limited as well.

Just double checking, you buy the one with phone app because you don't worry about range right? Atleast with Toyota remote start I have only used the remote only to test. Practically I only use my phone to remote start. I guess accessorides one with phone subscription one is same?
