Newbie here. There is a set of tundra rims and tires, same size as mine, for sale in much better shape than my stock rims. Not sure about TPMS and brakes. Will they fit. Would discount tire know?

2012 Tundra rims are 5 lug. So, no they won't fit.

If I remember correctly the offset is different and they will sit further in on the 4 runner...but I also could be mistaken.

Rims in the ad were mainly for 03 to 07 Sequoias. I think some 1st gen Tundras may have had those also. Definitely not from a 2012 Tundra.

^^ correct, they where used on tundra and sequioa from 2001-2006. They have the same bolt pattern 6x5.5 and the backspacing is 4.5". Which is a perfect fit on 5th gen 4runners.

Thanks for the inputs. It seems they would fit. I have nearly new BFG Trail Terrain TA’s on my original rims now. I was thinking of swapping my tires onto the newer rims. Possibly painting them black with spray paint prior to remount. I have no experience painting rims though. Not sure they would hold up.
I don’t have money for new rims. Too much effort?
