Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
4Runner didn't fare too well but the Bronco, Yikes! Expedition though!

Ouch. Looks like the Bronco would be in the bottom of the list, with the 4Runner not far behind.

But if you were rear ended you would probably never be parked in front of cement wall. Just thinking out loud...

Simulations can be accurate, but without knowing who made it and how much effort they put in to accurately portray the details of the vehicle I wouldn't take it too seriously.

Especially considering the IIHS seems to rate the ford Bronco well, though it was the 4 door. I have some doubts.

Yeah, I wouldn’t consider it being fooled. Simulations can be pretty legit depending on where they come from. I used to work in that field about 15 years ago.

I like that the truck ramming them seem to fair very well. That will be Karen & Ken's new road rage ride.

I’m pretty sure the “sim” used for this is Beam NG. Soft-body physics based driving game…but it’s a game, not a professionally validated sim. I’m sure with enough care, a model could be made that acts very accurately, and there is a bit of a community that develops vehicles for this game. However, it’s slow and fairly intensive work to do it well.

It is much easier to make “cookie cutter” structures and copy/paste the body onto it just to be able go use it “in-game”, make a youtube vid out of them, and profit.
