How did you test ? Are you just looking at trailer lights? Your problem sounds like a problem at the trailer since you have running lights. Is this a 7 pin or 4 pin flat? If it’s a 4 pin flat yellow left, green right , brown is your running light and white is ground. Get a cheap 12v light tester at harbor freight or your local auto shop. 8-10 bucks.

Flat 4 pin plug, tested at plug under bumper with test light, only one live is the running lights, trailer is good, all lights work with my truck, I’ve visually inspected wiring underneath, checked all fuses, with the vehicle having separate turn lights from the stop lamps I’m kind of at a loss on where to turn next

Does your setup include a converter box? My old Kia had one in the harness setup and went bad on one occasion with similar issues. Also maybe take a small wire brush to the metal inside the pins. A small piece of plumbers Emory cloth rolled works as well. Clean your grounds. It’s got to be something simple.

This thread give me flashbacks to mid-60s, watching my dad grit his teeth, kneeling in the gravel on the shoulder while the trucks flew by, trying to fix the @#$% wiring for the trailer lights.

None. Bone Stock. EXCEPT: Brushguard, tow hitch, both welded to the frame. It's good to have friends and a fully equipped garage!
Reminds me of '78. We had just graduated boot camp, our Senior Drill Instructor's last Platoon. We made him proud, too. He got transferred up to Camp Pendleton, about an hour north of boot camp. He got a flat on the LONG, straight, road going to the main gate. He was crouched down, in the gravel on the road side, changing his tire out, and got run over by a deuce-and-a-half. Killed him instantly...

It was a sad day for all 80 of us. Oh well, I guess "stuff" happens.

    Have a good day all!
