Only time will tell, but new Sequoia's start just over $60K, and the new 4Runner will start in the low $40k's, so it seems like a lot of overlap. Like so many others, I want the new LC to be Bronco/Wrangler direct competitor, focused on off-road ability not luxury.

Oh, God! I sure hope that grille is just another rendering! Yuck!

I'm happy to see a more off-road focused Landcruiser, but I'm more interested in what they do with the next 4Runner since that is more likely to be in my price range. I also doubt the Landcruiser is going to be anywhere near as small as a Wrangler, so I see the 4Runner as the better platform for competing with it.

    Yes, this.

Excellent point this is total speculation. First speculation that I have seen on LC coming back to our market and hoping the price point coming down happens. I prefer end of production vehicles letting all the issues be worked out so still many years out if something that may work for me in the future.

Some of us have been taking about the new LC for a while now. You can check this thread for all the details we know. Start on Page 20, Post #584.

Yeah that's the Land Cruiser Prado which is currently the same as the 4Runner on the J150 Land Cruiser platform with different sheetmetal and glass. Probably won't differ much in the next generation either. We'll see.
