    Hello Everyone,

My wife was looking to replace her 2010 Rav and had looked at Highlander, Sienna, etc. I've always loved 4Runners, but she was not particularly interested. I own an '09 Tacoma with 144K miles and am not going to get rid of it. Well, a friend of ours was looking to upgrade her 2015 T4R SR5 (with only 77K miles, super clean, meticulously maintained with records) to a '23 Limited. Long story short, they made us an offer we seriously couldn't refuse so here we are:

Anyhow, this is what I consider the dream combo. And since we bought it a few weeks ago, my wife has really changed her mind. She loves driving it. I had read on Tacomaworld that the interior quality of the 5th gen T4R was better than the 2nd gen (and even 3rd gen) Tacoma, but I was not prepared for how much better it is. It's like driving a tank. No squeaks, rattles, etc. and so smooth. Despite being the same engine (obviously the T4R is a slightly updated 1GR), it is practically silent while driving compared to my Taco.

So yeah, we're happy (especially me...lol) and look forward to many years of 4Runner ownership.

UPDATE: So I did a thing today...

It only took one long road trip in the wife's SR5 for me to realize I had to have a 5th gen for myself and picked one up today. Saved for the last 6 months so I wouldn't have to trade my Taco or have to deal with much of a loan with these current rates. My kids will be driving in a couple years so wanted to keep the Taco for them to drive. I ended up going with a '24 SR5P in Underground and added the black TRD wheels. I had already bought the black badges from another dealer and added those once I got home. I may end up deleting the running boards because I'm not sure how I like the look with everything below the roof blacked.

Just up the BGP from you in Versailles. Judging your affiliation based on your username, I do hope they keep Payne around for at least another season. He was a great floor coach for us and I think he just needs some time to build the program.
