RSG skid review

This is what I have except it has a shield badge not "RSG" cut outs in the front. They may have stopped making the badge ones it looks like but the skid looks the same.

I've had it for several months now. It's well made and has the wings in the front that I wanted, similar to the CBI design.

The main thing I came here to say is that the powdercoating is really good. I was changing my oil and decided to remove the rust from the scratches and paint, and the powdercoating didn't want to let go. I've seen poorer quality stuff start to flake off or be easier to remove with a brass wire wheel but this stuff hung on well. While not cheap, I can safely say I'm really happy with it.

However, when they shipped it to me two of the four screws for the oil filter door were cross threaded. Couldn't believe it. There were four screws on the whole thing and half were messed up some. He sent me four new screws without question right away so good customer service in my opinion. Anyways, I'll likely go back to them for rock sliders in the future.

Side note, what paint is best when touching up to prevent rust? I used black high temp paint meant for an outdoor grill.
