I just bought this 4runner sr5 and am in love with it other than one small thing. This has probably been asked before but. It is running on 5100 Bilstiens and the back end seems to hop while braking. I have yet to measure how much it is lifted but it also has 5100’s on the front. Is there anything that I can do to fix the rough ride and hopping while braking? Again im new to the community so I was just curious to what you guys would recommend if I was to replace the rear shock. I want to be more level.

If the 5100’s are too stiff for your tastes, try going back to OEM struts/shocks. I’m quite satisfied with the stock suspension. It’s very comfortable.

I have the Rough Country 3 inch lift with upper control arms in the front. No issues hopping in the rear or rubbing in the front.D592585F-F191-4074-AB83-82E65F6C811B.jpg
