I have a 2014 SR5 with slightly hazy and cracked fog lamp housings and I am thinking about replacing them. I was wondering if the new model (e.g. 2022) LED fog lights would work in my 2014? I have looked into aftermarket lights but I like the look of the OEM LED's. IMG_7231.HEIC.jpg

Look into the Diode Dynamics Elite series fogs for your model year. They’re OEM in appearance but performance will blow away the newer stock Toyota LED fog lights. Brighter and wider. Should be plug and play. And the Elites won’t be a whole lot more money. They come in white or amber color.

I got OEM like fogs from Amazon and they perfectly fit to my 2019. Love having OEM look and unlikely to have trouble with cops running them on road.

    Edit-
Wires / socket also direct plug and play. Remove the old one plug in the new one.

Are you more interested in looks or performance? The OEM Toyota LED fogs are actually pretty good on both fronts. The Diode Dynamics Elite aftermarket fogs will blow them away from a performance standpoint and look virtually identical. As for quality, I have numerous DD lighting products on my vehicles and the quality is top notch. If you go aftermarket eBay or Amazon, I wish you good luck.

Just thought I’d follow up. I ended up getting a set of OEM fog lights from a 2023 off of eBay for just $50. They look great!

Did those just plug into your 2014 wiring harness with no modification necessary? If so, I'd say you scored big time.

Nice..!! Hope you like it.I paid $68 for Amazon and the black- out one is $60. As shown on my post I went with the OEM one. Love when it looks factory and no messing with wires or brackets, direct plug and play. Since my OEM one worked good in fog I'm happy with functionality as well.

I have those exact fog lights, and they are great. I got them prior to LED fogs being offered on new 4Rs. I got the clear lenses also, and swapped them for the yellow. I may yet put the yellow lenses back on...

Yes, they are quite a bit brighter than the stock fog lights.

They will be. I have the SSC2 sports on the Forester and those are similar if not a little better to OEM. I've got the SS3 pros in the 4Runner and they're fantastic.

The pros are pretty nuts. So bright lol. I don’t use mine in oncoming traffic unless it’s heavy fog.
