Did the clay bar treatment for the first time (90,000 miles).

It was in desperate need of it and damn did it turn out nice.

Looks like a brand new truck again!

How much of a PITA was it to remove the bumper? I have a valance just debating whether to do it myself or take to a body shop.

Just did my rear valence the other day. 1h20m (part of that was spent looking for my tools that were misplaced) Not difficult. There are plenty of videos on youtube that walk you through it if needed. Now that I've done it once, I could do it way faster a second time if needed

oh the rear bumper came off in about 5 minutes, majority of that time was putting painters tape around the edges of the quarter panel and edges of the bumper to eliminate any possible scratches when removing and reinstalling

Took about 10 min to get the front bumper off. I will say all the dirt caked in the plastic retention clips made it more challenging lol

For sure! I have three sons (23 and 19 year old twins) and they should know better by now. Maddening - they never return the tools to the proper place! I had a complete ratchet set for over 20 years and in the past four years they have lost half of the sockets. Drives me bat shit crazy!

LOL I'm guilty of doing that with my pops tools when I was younger, then I bought my first complete set, went out to use it and half of my stuff was missing. Turns out my pops took whatever he was missing from mine and said, 'now you know what it feels like'. I learned my lesson and for the past 18 or so years I haven't lost one tool yet.

Ha! I meant to add that to my prior comment as well. My dad was not a happy camper when he had to search for tools (3 sons also). What goes around, comes around!

Not sure why the OEM black out emblem kit doesn’t come with the two grill pieces, so I ordered a cheap set off Amazon. Fit quality is awful, but at least all the exterior trim is now black.

that’s weird your pre-collision sensor is malfunctioning. I have no issues with mine after my lift and with 285s

I did that as quick as I could as well. Purchased in January and paid that damn loan off in February. Dealer was like we like to ask that you keep the loan for at least 6 months, i guess so they get their kick back. I told them that is not going to happen at signing of the paperwork.

That is actually what I did ask them....they looked at me know what do you mean? They were like nothing and I replied okay then it will be paid off in less than a month. Unbelievable! So dumb they try to take everything they can for us! Don't play their damn games!
