2024 TRD pro color announced (ish)

confirmed on TRD pro taco but speculation that it will also extend to the other TRD pro models including 2024 4runner as you'd expect.

Will have to wait to see in person before really judging it. Does look like a darker orange.

 

It’s going to upset the Octane guys. Lol. I will have to wait and see. If 24 last year for the 4runner I could give up my 21 LunaRock tundra Pro and cross back over. No rush on my part. That color may go over really well not as flashy.

 

Such a lackluster announcement of a colour. I was expecting something wild to commemorate the new generation of Tacoma.

 

"Terra" seems to be more "manly" color than the "girlish" colors I see from Toyota I see nowadays.
But Tacoma and 4Runner won't have the exact color right? I remember for Lime Rush for Tacoma was pretty sharp vs 4Runner was burned / dull.

 

I say go big or go home. I want to see something bold. Like hubba bubba pink

 

I like it, a lot. Earthy, Retro - I think it's similar to an 80s Toyota color, at least I've heard mention of that and can vaguely remember seeing something... I think it'll look great with the blacked out trim and wheels on the 4runner Pro. I love my ORP that I just bought (including the color, which I didn't pick but it was what was available), but if this new color is as good in person (to my eye) *and* if next year is the last *and* if there is no 'farewell' model 5th gen - I may put a deposit on one and make a decision to trade later next year when it comes in. Hopefully after all is known about the rest of the incoming models, LC, 6th gen TR4 etc.

Would be cool to have the last year 5th gen in PRO limited color and just driving it forever.

 

Not going to upset this Octane owner. I actually love the intensity of Solar Octane. Kind of like comparing Voodoo Blue to Cavalier Blue.

 

I could go for something a little closer to AZ/UT dirt color.

 

A nice dark yellow similar to old Camel Trophy Discovery trucks would be nice.

 

Looks like they are bringing back a "Terra" color from the 80s, and there were some stunning colors back then!

Terra should look great on the 4Runner though a lighter color like this 50s Porsche 356 would be spectacular.

The Solar Octane has more character and wow factor to my eye, but it would be a tough choice!

We've already had orange twice. Do we really need it a third time?

 

Maybe it's what they get when the mix the leftover colors. Solar octane + army green?
