    Hi Everyone,

New to the forum and new 3rd gen owner, recently sold an overland 1st gen tundra build because I wanted a new project. Good vehicles are limited in my area and I found a 99 4runner which had the majority of the mods I'd do already done with some big maintenance taken care of. I pulled the trigger but because options were limited I ended up getting a sunroof model which sucks as I'm 6'6" 330 lbs so not necessarily a small guy.

So here's my predicament the leg room is surprisingly great I was used to being snug in my last rig but there's one big difference the lack of headroom in the 4runner. I've looked into it and everyone just says buy a non sunroof model which I would've considered more if I didn't get a decent deal on the one I ended up buying. I've had to modify seats on previous cars and I did see one user put scion xb seats and lowering brackets. I noticed with the power seats in my new rig they do sit high. Would aftermarket seats with custom brackets be the solution? It looks as though prp daily drivers look like they have a lower profile and I have a welder friend who could whip up the brackets. I've also been trying to source a non sunroof headliner to help more since the sunroof isn't functional. If anyone had any ideas to make it more comfortable that would be great as I'd like to build this rig out(I would rather not just buy a big bulky rig) Thanks!
