Anyone have suggestions for a kayak rack that fits on a Sherpa Rack? I'm assuming the crossbars are similar to other aftermarket racks like Prinsu. Looking to load a fishing kayak which would be around 80lbs - 90lbs.

A load assist rack like Yakima ShowBoat 66 but I've that it's not compatible with 4runner hatch.

    Why isn’t compatible?

Guessing it has to do with the hatch spoiler

Yep it’s the hatch spoiler. The only other assisted ones would be a side load but it requires bars to extend past the edge of the roof

Something is not right. The product information says
    • The ingenious boat load-assist roller slides out over the rear of the vehicle for easier access and vehicle protection (UP TO 34” EXTENSION FROM REAR CROSSBAR)
34” from the rear crossbar that is past my spoiler. Move your crossbar back farther until the point it’s roller is just beyond the spoiler.

I just found this thread from the other 4runner forum My concern was when there isn't a kayak loaded on top, opening the hatch wasn't possible cause that rear sliding support would be in the way. But from the looks of it, seems like this person was able to make it work with a couple inches to spare. Also Sherpa rack hugs a lot closer to the shark fin so I'm not sure if that will present a problem.
