    Kyx nerfbars, TRD roof rack.
What do you guys think about those shields to prevent the cat converter theft? Do you think they are worth it or a waste of money? It looks like 4runners never make the lists but Tacomas and Hondas make the top 10 for theft.

Mine are arriving Thursday from Cali Raised. Here is how I look at it. I have a $500 insurance deductible and just raised my 4R 3 inches making it even easier for the thieves to get under there. For $189.00 from Cali Raised it is well worth it. The deductible aside, I dont want someone under my car with a saw.

A thief will take the cats off of anything.....I would install plates.

I’ll be installing my RCI trans skid with cat guards in the next few weeks. More piece of mind than anything.

Got mine retrofitted to my old rci skids a month or so ago. I like them, fits well, have not seen a temperature difference, etc

I have the RCi trans/cat combo and I had my skids off for a week just awhile back to do all of the fluids and touch up the rusty bits. I was a nervous wreck all week thinking about the exposed cats, and even got a ring notification about local cat thieves across town during that time.

I can’t imagine getting in and turning on the 4Runner only to hear straight pipes. Totally worth the piece of mind (especially if you can get them for free during the RCI promo).
