Rims for 5th Gen Limited

I came across a posting on FB marketplace for a set of Tacoma rims with michelin X ice mounted on it. 265/65/17. Selling only for 1000 Canadian. Probably around 50 percent thread left. Sorry for the ignorant question but would this work for a '23 Limited. Thanks for your inputs.

 

Try this site or one like it to compare wheel sizes and offsets to see how the Tacoma wheels layout I have a 2018 Limited and went with the Toyota 4 Runner 17x7.5 off road premium wheels. I saw many from the Tacoma line available everywhere but was afraid to take a chance with fitment. The off road premium wheels have the same offset as your 20” OEM. The width is a half inch wider and believe the back spacing is slightly different but they fit with an all terrain tire. I did have a slight rub in reverse wheels cocked on the inner fender liner (driver side) but 5 minutes with a heat gun was all that it took to push the liner forward a hair. Can’t even tell.

 

Any 4runner TRD Offroad wheels around you? Here in the USA I see them around 400bucks amd may be you can ask for 300? So you know then fot 100% and can spend the money for correct size tires vs smaller tires on those Tacoma wheels. Just a thought..

You can also find them on Ebay for about $500 US. And that would include free shipping and would allow the piece-of-mind of being able to return it too.

Yeah they run about a $100 each on Craig’s list, FB Market place, EBay etc. I got the first 4 on FB market place for $350 and the spare for $100 on EBAY. They had some light scuffs and scratches but some polishing compound and a little elbow grease ok I cheated and used a drill with a buffer and it came out nearly perfect.Those rims are clear coated so they buff out like paint.

 

Just picked up a set of brand new OR wheels off Craigslist yesterday. Seller was located within 10 miles of me. Had them listed for $600. Offered $400 and he accepted. Good deal for both parties as he replaced with TRD Pro rims and had no use for the OR rims. There was another set in South Austin for $350 used but I did not want to drive 150 miles round trip to save $50. Deals are out there, good luck OP.

Question: for those that have done the wheel swap, anyone using 1.25" spacers with stock 265/70 tires on OR rims no lift? Is the stance good enough w/o spacers? I currently have spidertrax spacers and cornfed 3/4" lift spacer on the front 20" wheels. I like the wide stance but want to avoid major modifications?

 

Sold our stock ORP rims on Facebook Marketplace in a day. Look there.
