    Hello ToyHeadz,

Just bored and wondering if anyone out there knows how to obtain production numbers on my ride.
I spoke with a representative at Toyota and they weren't able to help me. Neither have the interwebs.

As always, any help is always appreciated!

You mean like a build sheet based on VIN? Not sure if they go that far back, but you can ask your parts manager at the local Toyota dealer, they usually can do it.

Thanks. I'll give that a shot. What I'm looking for is actual production numbers on 2nd gen 2door 4runners.

Good luck in finding that info. I haven't been able to find numbers prior to 1994. And I don't believe that Toyota ever separated them when counting. I do believe that your VIN tells you what the production number of your vehicle was. It is the last 6 digits. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Thank you, I appreciate your input. Yeah, unfortunately it's not an AMX, GTO or Impala SS. I could recite those production numbers.

Oh well, all I know is that I've only seen two in person - mine and one other - and only a small number of Google images.

    It's rare...but nobody care ‍♂️

Welp! I guess the world will never know (or probably care). If Toyota Motor Corp nor the Internet can give me an answer, I suppose that's my answer.

If there are any other 2nd gen 2door owners out there...hit me up. Maybe we can start a club. ‍♂️

    Best,
