Purchased Friday afternoon, took out to the Mojave Desert Saturday morn, Luv It. Out with the Tacoma Turd '98 in with the new, a twenty year wait well worth. Land Speed Racing took up my play time, so no testing on the soft stuff, but the ruffle-roads were sweet smoothe. Any opinions on some upgrades?IMG_3580.jpg IMG_3590.jpg

Wondering what’s a good replacement tire, and the reliability of an after market install with these new-fangled tire pressure sensors, as well as warranty compliance, I’m still stuck in ‘98

I guess it depends on what you're wanting to do with the 4runner. If you're sticking on roads or looking to go off road, I have no real complaints with the stock tires so far but I'll be replacing them with something a little heavier for off road so I don't constantly worry about cutting a sidewall. Some people love them, some love to hate them but I ran BFG KO's on my taco and I liked them, not sure what I'll go with this time around.

Good to know that the stock tires are holding up, I had BFG AT’s on my Taco and they were nice, probably go that route when it’s time.

Just had the stealer install the Pro nameplate, it was the only thing I could negotiate down to a bit less of a reaming in my wallet. But had to have it for my half century celebration, only live once3A7C05E3-7D4C-40BA-A869-1A53657DF60B.jpg
