    Back in 2016 I posted this...https://www.4runners.com/threads/what-have-you-done-to-your-5th-gen-4runner-today.2261/#post-26803

Fast-forward to 2023, I needed new stuff again, this time for our second 5th gen.

I still think the Husky mats are a great value so I bought a set again.

i was however disappointed at how the Husky cargo liner was not a perfect fit. The liner is too long. This one is going back.

This time I went with GoRhino RB30 Slims instead of the nfab nerf bars. I think the RB30s will be more functional and offer better protection from rocks being kicked up by my tires.

Those Husky mats look really good. May have to check into those.

    Congratulations on your new 4Runner.

    Thanks.

Yes, the old set of Husky mats I had looked new even after 6+ years of use.

Amazing how new floor liners can make a vehicle feel new again.

I started using Husky liners for the past few vehicles. There wasn't necessarily anything wrong with the Weathertech's, but I really like that the Husky stay somewhat flexible at -40.

Here is something to think about on the front Husky mats. Black Gorilla tape over the hold down clips (red) prevents water, sand, etc from going down on the carpet. And a little black silicon caulk in the channel (yellow) helps prevent stuff from going back on the carpet
The cargo area mat also has much better coverage than OEM and Wearhertech.IMG_2152.jpgIMG_2152.jpgIMG_0238.jpg

I have had Husky liners in my 4Runner for about four years, still great with little to no wear.

The Husky set I purchased in 2015, including cargo mat, is on my 2022 and still going strong
