Anyone tried this product? Local 4x shop recommended it to me so I have one on the way. Could be the best fix for the most lethargic accelerator ever.

Looks like another Pedal commander/ Sprint Booster knockoff.

FWIW, the vast majority of people who use these devices seem to love them. I don't have one, but still recommend them to anyone dissatisfied with the pedal feel.

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
Similar to the Sprint Booster that I have and love. It's the best mod I've made on my T4R.

The more of these types of devices that come out, the prices will go down at least. Competition is good.

I loved the sprint booster on my taco

I have the Sprint Booster. It's about the size of your thumbnail. Easy install. Have had it for 2 yrs. Absolutely no problems and I highly recommend it.

Very informed and well articulated article. And this last sentence gets me regardless. "A throttle controller doesn’t really do anything productive, but the odds are that if you try it, you’re probably going to love it anyway".

I disagree. No it does not actually increase HP but it does make driving the vehicle much more enjoyable. To me that's productive.

I have the HikeIt X9. I agree that they all do basically the same thing, with differing bells and whistles. It really wakes up the engine. Makes 268 HP feel so much better.

I find lazy Sunday mornings enjoyable, that doesn’t make them productive.

Had a PC for 3 years and one day turned it off to see if I missed it and because low speed maneuvering was a pain with it. I didn't miss it and so I gave it to someone on here. You can stomp on the pedal for the same effect.

Have owned my 2019 for 4.5 years and never felt dissatisfied with the pedal. I really don't get the attraction to spend money on these. I know it's there, I just don't understand it.

I'm on the same page. But, everyone who has them seems to love them.

I put a P/C on my 4runner, had it for over a year now. Mushy stock throttle by wire had me around 16.7-16.8 mpg. The P/C allows for smoother, better throttle response, now I'm avg 17.0 mpg.

The PC is more widely known.
