Off-sets vary on different trim models

Looking to switch up OE wheels and from what I can tell the TRD PRO rims are +5mm off-set while the standard 4runner wheels are 0 off-set. Is that to give the PRO a wider stance? Can someone please verify.

Actually, the Off-road wheels are +15mm offset. Positive offset pulls the wheel in tighter, negative offset pushes them outward.

So if the Pro off-sets are +15 are the standards zero as I'm seeing? I have the standard rims with an ARB 3in lift and no clearance issues. Will I have problems then with the Pro rims?

 

No. TRD Off-road is +15 offset. PRO wheels are +4mm offset.

 

Okay so to make this easier for my numb-skull can you tell me if these will stick out more or tuck in more on my TRD Off-Road Premium? My current wheels can be seen in my avatar.

 

A +5 will stick out 10 mm further than a +15 (off-road wheels). Offset works the opposite of what you'd probably expect, so it can be confusing at first.

 

Gotcha, so these new Pro wheels would stick out 10mm further than my current off-road ones. Thanks for explaining to a newby.
