2014 Limited passenger sun visor and front speakers

Good afternoon guys, got two issues with my 4 Runner.

Looks like the passenger side sun visor broke, it no longer stays up. Anybody have the part number for this?

Also, I think the front speakers are going out. When I get a call I can barely hear the other person. Sounds like they're talking in a metal can. Music sounds fine. Should I replace the front twitters?

2014 Limited JBL. Tan interior.

 

What part on the visor broke? The little hook that holds the visor in place?

 

Its going to be the mechanism that holds in place where it swivels. Before it fully broke it was making a loud clicking sound when it swiveled.

Just get the right color.

 

It's the other end, so on that website I don't see where they sell this clip by itself. Maybe have to buy the whole visor.

 

Oh, yeah, need whole visor. I'd look used on ebay.

 

I've got a 2018 Limited with JBL and the passenger side tweeter on the dash occasionally clips at higher volume, mostly on classical music that has more dynamic range. I mentioned it to an audio shop guy I was talking to about something else, and he said he had after market tweeters for $69 a pair and about $60 installation that would blow the factory tweeters out of the water. I don't remember the brand name of the tweeters, but I don't keep up with car audio so unless it was a name that's been around 20 years I wouldn't know it anyway. I had him install a system in a previous vehicle that turned out well, so I think I'm going to let him switch out the tweeters. Worst case, if I don't like them he can put the JBL tweeters back.

 

Be careful replacing individual speakers with aftermarket. I believe the stock speakers are 2 ohm. Throwing in 4ohm tweeters will throw off the balance as they will be quite a bit lower volume.

 

The "Subaru replacement tweeters" that are so popular with these trucks are really good and the correct impedance. Just installed them a few weeks ago. Look for them on Amazon.
