    2019 SR5P Getting too old to do this but I crawled under to take a look at the cat(s) on my truck. Was thinking about etching the serial number on hopefully to deter theft.

    First I didn’t know I had 2. Also the left (driver side) has a cover around it, heat shield I assume, but the right side does not. Is this normal? I should probably stay out from under there.

    What you found is normal. Some on here, myself included, have opted to get cat shields to help prevent unauthorized removal...:mad:

    Thanks for the quick response. I live in a rural area, small towns, so far we don’t have a big problem with cat theft YET.

    It looks like about $300 to get a good shield, was hoping get by with etching and some bright paint, fingers crossed.
