Looks great! I have the Wescott lift on my '21 TRD Pro. I really like the look of those tires. Certainly more "chunky" than the stock Nitto tire. Nice!

Looks awesome. Any rubbing? Is the UCA change and BMC definitely needed?

    Love it. Beautiful

I’m getting an Eibach lift kit installed Thursday with the exact same tire as you. Can’t wait. Yours looks beautiful

He didn’t change the suspensions which is the main thing about the pro

The UCAs and BMC are not needed. The camber and toe aligned well within factory spec. The caster came in under spec at 1.2 degrees. Per the report it should be 2.8 deg min. Cross camber, caster and toe are all well within factory specs. The vehicle drives as before the lift with no noticeable changes (straight and true) and there is no tire rub. Front mud flaps remained on. I’m replacing the UCAs to get the caster into factory spec, my choice, and I’m OCD about everything being correct. Doing the BMC just in case I decide to go bigger in the future.

Thanks, I’ve been running the ATIII’s on all my off-road vehicles. Nice and quiet and they are great in the snow. Look forward to seeing your install!

Looks great! I have the same Solar Octane and wanting to do similar mods. Did you keep the stock TRD Pro wheels on a 285 tire?

Listen. It’s your toy and you get to do whatever you want your toy. I’m just like you. If I do a job I want it done perfectly if that means adding a pair of UCAs so be it

Thanks. Yes, in the pic, they are the stock Pro Wheels with the 285’s installed. I’ll be swapping them with SCS Ray10’s in Matt Black soon. I like the stock rims but want a wider stance but don’t want to use wheel spacers.

    Thanks.
And you said no rubbing. Did you try at full lock with articulation or just on pavement?

I’m looking to get the same setup eventually (Westcott lift with 285/70) but I do go off-roading often and sometimes use full articulation. Also trying to stay away from a BMC if possible

    ^^^^^ THIS.
‘21 Pro with Westcott Designs kit here.
285 Toyos on OEM TRD Pro wheels.
Minor front fender trimming and forward caster.
No BMC and no UCA’s needed.
Need and want are different things, however…:)

If “they” set it up right, you shouldn’t need to remove the mud flaps or do a BMC to run 285’s.

Correct, I haven’t done any hard off-roading yet, but I have not experienced any rubbing at full articulation, L or R, Fwd or Reverse, flat or on an incline. From what I have read, if left on, some people do experience rubbing on the mud flaps, but so far I have not had this problem. As Slopemaster stated, it will depend on the installer/alignment. Also, I did not have to trim anything from the fenders, and the BMC is just something I want to get done, not required, thanks

1.2 deg caster is very low. I understand the need for caster correcting UCA's, even with a small "lift" such as the Westcott.
