Hey I could use some knowledge, both my drive belts came off while I was on the freeway and I was stuck out in a state park, I used the tensioners and got em both back on, but now none of my pulleys lined up with each other, so they just came right back off when I started it, anyone got any ideas as to how this could happen? I can only think that maybe a motor mount is broken so the whole engine is off kilter, all the pulleys are tight nothing is loose, was hoping to get some opinions before I tow it to a shop.

Pulleys are attached to the engine, so if the engine is off kilter, they would just move with the engine. If you had a broken engine mount, you'd know it as the engine would shift when starting.

I think you still have a messed up pulley.

That's good to hear! I just don't understand how they could get so messed up, not one lines up with the other, thank you for your reply!

Sounds like something in the fan support failed. Bearing(s) or loose fan clutch attach hardware?
