    Hi everyone, new here and honestly new to all of this, embarrassing for me to say but hey we all have to start somewhere. Anyways,
    Just purchased a 2022 TRD off-road 4Runner. I’m Looking for input on Different suspension packages and what ones are the best go too. Not sure if I’ll ever go down some crazy hard ass trails to start, maybe for now just mild to medium like off road trails until I get the hang of it. Any suggestions and advice would greatly appreciated!

    Check out Bilstein, Eibach, Dobinsons, Toytec.

    More expensive lift kits: Icon, Fox, Kings, ADS, Radflo

    Just depends on how much cash you want to spend.

    Bilstein 6112 in the front. Bilstein 5160 in the rear. SPC upper control arms. Icon rear coils part number 52700. That should be around 2300-2600. Then whatever it costs for labor.

    most cost effective and solid lift IMO.

    Never ending choice with no right or wrong answer (IMO)..
    Some kits may have high price tag but pay attention to details as they might have more components included (like upper control arm).

    Eibach Pro Truck kit Ironman Pro-forge UCS's Rocktrix RT110'S in bronze, 17x9 Toyo AT3'S 285/70/17
    That's almost like asking "what's the best car to get". I have an Eibach Pro-Truck Kit and IronMan ProForge UCA's, set me back about $1500 for the entire package ($860 or so for the Eibach shocks and springs, and another $600 for the UCA's). I went with it simply because my car gets FAR more road use than trail but I wanted to have the ability to handle most things when I did choose to go play. I love the UCA's because they are zero maintenance, just like the stock UCA's. Gave me near 5 degrees of positive caster and I don't have to re-grease them every 3-5k.

    Welcome. i am no expert, but just started to redo my 2021 limited. Went with OME BP51’s. this is my first experience with upgrading shocks and I couldn’t be happier. Good luck with the quest.

    You are the man I'm looking for. Are BP-51 as good as XREAS on road. Key word is "on road". I don't care for offroad. I want something good as XREAS to absorb every bump on road.

    Did you use after market UCA or use stock UCA. I want under 2.5in lift so may not need UCA.

    I miss the ride comfort with current Bilstien lift compared to XREAS. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

    On road the BP51s feel tight and controllable,they do great on the road for me especially when it comes to less than smooth roads. I say controllable because the xreas always felt like they needed more correction in steering over potholes, heaves and bumpier city roads whereas the BP’s seem to take it in stride. I would say they feel better than xreas on the road. I decided on them because the xreas beat the hell out of me on the White rim (Canyon lands). I ended up with SPC UCA’s and a 2.5ish lift. Most of my driving is on tarmac roads of mixed condition,I feel like I get very little lean and less nose dive under hard breaking also.Fairly new to all of it but this the best way I cad explain it. This help?

    Thank you @Belfastboy. I'm trying to find a system soft as xreas. Most lift suspension seem to have little tighter / sporty feel. Since our Limited is 99% city vehicle I need some thing absorbs every bump. I've heard some say on BP51 rebound and compression at level 1 is too soft so that's why I'm thinking it might be my ticket. After spending lot of money on mods I'm very hesitant to spend money again. Why i'm being very careful.

    Going over poorly maintained bumps in roads is killing my back.

    Mine is set,well i guess i dont know the number, but was told it is in the middle.haven’t loaded it up with gear yet.will have about 600lbs of cargo in it next week for a 70 mile drive so I will know more then on how it does loaded on middle setting. I do like better than xreas in my short time with them.

    Mark the current settings on a booklet / phone. When you travel if you like take the tool with you and do minor adjustments and see what is the perfect setting for you. If you don't like you can dial back to original settings. (Only if you like to play with the settings)

    I really wish BP51 had a easy way of adjustment like other dual adjustment systems.

    I’m looking for soft ride as well. Don’t you have the Elka 2.5 DC on one of your 4Runners? Doesn’t the Elka give softest ride on-road? If not maybe the BP51 may be for me then.

    was looking Dobinsons MRA and Bilstein 6112 but sounds like from folks on her it gives a stiffer ride on road

    To my taste XREAS absorb the onroad bumps better than ELKA 2.5DC. On rough roads / gravel roads ELKA 2.5DC are insanely good in absorbing the shock.

    I've heard BP51 are good too. I think Dobinson MRR has the best adjustability with 2 compression and 1 rebound adjusters. Last December I met Youtubers Last Line Of Defense at a 4x4shop where he went with Dobinson MRR.

    Sadly I think suspension is a personal preference as I see some like TRD Pro Fox over XREAS. I keep TRDPro Fox in relatively low level. Even my wife like Ironman FCP over TRD Pro Fox. So my choice may not work with everyone.

    With the experience with Elka when my TRD Pro Fox are done (i think it may last about 50K miles?) It's very hard to make my mind out of Elka. I want to try something else but unlike playing with tires its hard to change suspension when I don't like it.:(:(
