Greetings from the PNW! (new account)

First - thanks to originator and contributors to this forum - several months into 2002 4Runner 4WD 3.4L with 190K purchase and have collected TONS of sage info on this beast so far using this forum!

I'm new to 4Runner parenthood. Bought an apparently neglected 2002 for my son and is in need of signif repair/refresh in many areas. First up was timing belt/waterpump/tensioners/seals and valve cover gaskets.

Next up: lower ball joints, and bushings and shocks/springs. (all apparently original)

LOVE to do my own work BUT currently little time. Anyway, local shop is doing the immediate work to get this thing safely/comfortably on the road. More faster = more better for the moment.

The question: Which shocks and springs?

Context: original(?) shocks and bushings are shot and the truck seems to sit a little low and ride a bit rough. Would like to restore original height and ride. At this point, I/we have no interest in a lift - just kinda like the stock look of this classic beast. Will be road driven 95%, off-road-no-crawl 2% - the other 3% airborne (kidding)

Research: Perusing all threads I could find, the best seem to be OEM Tokico. After that, opinions diverge.

    Edit:
See below for update on my shopping.

Does this sound "reasonable"? What am I missing?

    Update:

    Looks like OEM is Tokico?
From Google Shopping, found MVPmotorsports with Tokico's

Front Shock: Tokico Trekmaster GU3535 $137.80ea
Rear Shock: Tokico Trekmaster GU3536 $104.30ea
    Tax 41.62
Shipping $55 (USPS Priority 1-3 days, standard is free but takes a month)
    So, $580.82 So far.

They are green - would have preferred black or silver (will paint)
    -no bushings

    Found springs at mcgeorgetoyota:
    Front Springs: 48231-35200 $142.07ea
    Rear Springs: 48131-35400 $87.09ea
    66.78 shipping
    44.63 tax
    So, 569.73

Total before tax and shipping: $942.52
    With Tax and Shipping: $1,150.55

    OR

If I get ALL the parts via mcgeorgetoyota, $1,018.84 ( I just don't know who makes the shocks or what color they are. Diagram looks like includes bushings- will call in the AM)

If you get shocks from an online Toyota dealer like McGeorge, you will get OEM shocks made by Tokico. They will be black with the orange stripe. Identical to the factory originals.
