    Back in 2021 I fitted Cooper AT3 4S 255/75R17s on my previous 2016 TE.

    https://www.4runners.com/threads/wh...h-gen-4runner-today.2261/page-522#post-264494

Today I got another set. This time I had them installed on my 2023 ORP. This is actually my 3rd set, counting the set that I got for my 2023 Tundra (275/60R20).

DT took the stock tires with almost 600 miles on them for $75- each.

I really like the look of these tires, and they perform well on snow/ice and in light offroading.

From my experience, these slightly taller tires are a better match with the 4R transmission on inclines.

Ride comfort, noise-level and mpg are basically the same as stock.

Cornering and braking are more stable, maybe because of the stiffer sidewall.

I think Cooper is an underrated brand. I ran them for years on my Defender and they were great.

Yeah, I think the Michelins that I had were good on hwy driving but I like these Coopers as an all-around tire. I haven't tried Wildpeak or KO2 just because I'm happy with the Coopers and they're cheaper.

I've ran 2 sets of other Cooper models in the past and have been very happy with them.

This is random, but I also really like the font they use on the OWL.

It’s just stock 2023 ORP. Same with my previous 2016 TE.

Me too. I generally like OWL on A/T tires.

We have ran Coopers in asst. sizes for about 12 yrs., never had a problem with them. On the '20 ORP we run the 275-70 LTs, we're not 'hardcore' off road but we ocassionally do some hills that have lots of rocks, that's the reason for the 10 ply rating (had a bad outing with P rated tires). Generally speaking though, we like the Coopers.

Okay so maybe a dumb question from a noob on wheels, are thoughts 17" or 20"? I am guessing 17" but I have a 2023 Limited and they look like the same stock wheel as my 20". I like the stock wheel and prefer to keep them. Sorry about being a big noob on wheel I just can't wrap my head around wheels and tires sizes.

I’m not sure what your actual question is but hopefully this info helps…

My 2023 ORP has 17" x 7.5" rims, while your 2023 Limited should have come with 20″ diameter x 7″ width rims from the factory.

With the stock 20s, 275 55 20 is the size you want.

Perfect thanks a lot for the feedback and with the 275 55's there will be no rubbing i believe as well?

    Thanks again.

I recall seeing a few threads on here with guys fitting 275 55 20, its not much larger then the factory(265 70 17). But there's always a chance of rubbing.
