Glove Box Woes

    I know the glovebox gets jammed on the 4Runner, from what I can tell it’s usually a screw somewhere in the glovebox door that over tightens with time, however, in my situation, the door latch is getting wedged between the release and the latch. It looks like there is too much clearance there (see image), and there is a lot of slop in the mechanism, though it’s not loose. Does anyone else have this much of a gap here (red circle in image). I am trying to decide whether I am going to have to 3D print something to cover that gap or replace the mechanism. I won’t replace it if the new part has the same fit… thx.

    I haven’t noticed an issue (as of yet) but don’t use my glove box often to notice anything either. Interested to see what you come up for the fix!:thumbsup:
