Maybe it’s b/c I’m an old fart now, but I am in the process of undeleting the “performance” exhaust on a recently acquired TRD off road. It is currently missing the secondary cats (which fortunately the previous owner saved and I have in my possession) and has a Bold-performance back cat with some sort of nice looking Y-pipe. Don’t get me wrong, the Bold-performance exhaust is beautiful, but the thing hits at least 85 dB when on the gas at speed. Unfortunately, I don’t have any other OEM parts and after a tempting look at a Walker aftermarket kit, I decided to just go head and out a stock OEM system back on. I really don’t need or want a bunch of noise while driving… especially from a 6 cyl import. Anyway, I suppose I and the $#%hole here :)

Don’t blame you. Modifying the exhaust on a v6 is laughable to begin with. Not to mention a 5k pound v6.

LFA engine and exhaust sound is beautiful, V-Tech S2000 redlining at 9000 RPM sound is awesome, Yamaha R1 M bike engine is fantastic but SUV/Truck engines don't sound good especially resonating trough aftermarket unrestricted exhaust. I like my 4R to be as silent as possible.
