Possible to SEM paint valances w/o removing them?

    If I’m meticulous enough with taping and covering the vehicle is it possible to successfully sand and paint the valances w/o removing them?

    I wouldn't sand them on the body, as the edge marries directly to the panel it attaches to.

    Removing the panels takes all of 10 minutes.
