I’m installing new headlights that require I tap into the INJ. Unfortunately that’s already been done for my fog light bezels. Anyone know if I can just tap into the INJ NO. 3 to achieve the same result? Need to do this to get the DRLs on the after market headlights to run correctly.

Also exploring adding in a fuse relay that taps off the currently double tapped INJ… but that requires more work and I’m trying to save some time haha.

Well back to the drawing board. Two add a fuses won’t fit next to each other. Even if my approach above would’ve worked. image.jpg

Why not just use a different fuse? Someone check me on this. Where fuse taps are concerned there are two types of fuses: always hot and switched. Right?

I hate when this happens!! Pretty sure I searched and couldn't find any side by side add a fuse solutions.

    This may help

I have 12v ignition tapped in a few places in my 2016. For me the recommended 10A IGN seemed to trip my ecu from add a fuse for sequential fog fangs. Also like you sometimes add a fuse placement infringe on each other.

So instead I've stacked add a fuse's off one another, giving you a total of 3 slots. Also, I actually tapped straight into a blank interior fuse slot, which I'm told is acting as an IGN2. (2016 has no IGN2 or 3 interior slot). I found some blanks give me no voltage though as well.

Can try add a fuse fitment on 15A P/Outlet interior location. Or 7.5A ACC, or 10A TAIL.

Photos of 2016 fuse cover, then 2023 I believe
