    Hi guys/gals

I recently purchased a used TRD Pro Grille and it has what appears to be paint overspray.

I’d like to hear suggestions for removing it obviously without ruining the smooth finish.

Here’s some pictures of the actual grille

I recently bought one of these (OEM) and looked nothing like that. I can also see what looks like white chipping at the very bottom of the 'T'. If it was me I'd probably return it for another one, hopefully free of those white specks.

It was bought used. It wasn’t picked up by me so I didn’t see it until I got my hands on it yesterday.

Yeah I was contemplating purchasing new but figured I’d give it a chance for saving a few dollars.

I just want to try to correct it without ruining it.

Cool thing is the seller is willing to refund if it can’t be fixed.

My car was parked behind someone who ran over a fluorescent green marking spray paint that exploded and it got on my pearl white hood, fenders, grill and lower plastic on my 2018 Limited. I used WD40 on a rag to remove the spray paint. If that is traffic line paint then it probably won’t work. That stuff is near impossible to remove.
