I did a couple searches, but couldn't find a definitive answer. My question is, are there replacement front coil options for the Fox TRD Pro struts in my model year? I had ordered a set of Eibachs, but the coils were flat ground top and bottom, and wouldn't fit the existing lower spring seat. Will Dobinson's C59-300 work? I'm looking to compensate for sag resulting from a RTT, recovery tools, and a steel bumper/winch combo.

Dobinsons don't make any for your version with the pigtail lower and flat upper. The regular Dobinsons coils aren't the correct ID to fit on the TRD Pro struts.

If Eibach don't make any, I don't know anyone else that does.

Is there any negative result of getting an equivalent spring from you or Eibach and having a machinist grind down one side so you have your pigtail side and flat side?

They're spring steel, so a grind in them could lead them to failure

Dobinsons regular coils, C59-300 for example, do have a pigtail lower and flat ground top, but they're not wide enough on the inside because of the fatter TRD Pro shocks. I think they're 2.5" body size or something, but Dobinsons are only 2". They would rub on the shock body. You need 3" ID coils to fit those struts with the suitable ends.

As unfortunate as it is you may need to upgrade the suspension. I faced the same thing with my bumper and weight. Ended up biting the bullet.

You must had received the wrong springs from Eibach. As Hvac guy stated, the link he attached will fit.

Thanks for the replies all, very helpful. In regards to this spring set; https://eibach.com/2821/E30-82-071-04-22-Toyota-4Runner-pro-lift-kit , the year range listed is through '22. Has anything changed that would prevent them from working on a '23? Would I need to call Eibach directly to find out? This would be the third set of springs I have ordered due to fitment issues, or incorrect product description. :(

BTW, I ordered the Westcott preload spacers for the front, so at this point, I'm just looking to bump the rear end up an inch or so.

Edit: I'm sitting on a pair of the Eibach load leveling springs #AK31-82-071-03-02 which I was told were direct adjustable replacements for the rear with no other mods necessary, but the install guide says that they "must not be used with OE shocks." I'd really rather not need to drop another $500-1k for longer travel shocks just to bring the rear back up to factory height or 1" above.

Here is the set I had to send back, PN E30-82-071-03-22, the first set that the fine folks at Extreme Terrain misled me to believe fit the truck. The rears might have been fine, but I had to return the full set to get any kind of refund.

My opinion, Westcott is not a true lift and junk even tho they keep denying its not a spacer. Some will argue and say they are great. To each own but ill would stick to actually lift springs like Eibach first.

I feel the same way, but I really need to get this suspension situation resolved by the first week of May for a camping trip, and I'd rather have to return something that turned out not to be necessary, than not have the vehicle completed due to shipping delays etc.

I have the Eibach Pro lift on my 2023. It works great. No fitment issues. I believe the correct part number is E30-82-071-04-22

Stupid question and sorry for the thread hijack, but could you use the Westcott spacers AND the Eibach springs for a total of 3" front and 2.25" rear? Downsides...new UCA's, new shocks?

I have a 2021 TRD PRO and upgraded the fox shocks with eibach front coils lift kit (Part number E30-82-069-03-20) paired with Old man emu rear coils (heavy load) coils.

I think the Eibach added about 1.4 inches of lift with stock configuration. However, looking at your setup with front winch + steel bumper, I'm not sure that it will do much for you. I wished they offer different spring rate options. I'm considering adding Winch + partial bumper and light bar soon, calculated the weight to be around 140lbs in addition. We'll see how it goes..

So I did wind up going with the Eibach Pro Lift front coils on the factory Fox struts, and their load leveling system in the rear with some remote reservoir Fox 2.5"s. The lift looks great, and the owner is really happy with the stance and ride. It sits about 1.25" over factory in front, and 2.25" over stock in back fully loaded. I was able to stuff in some BFG 285/70/17 mudders with BMC and minimal trimming, and we took it for a test run on a class 5 trail in Western WA with very good results.

Rear bumpstop comparison. The kit did require removing the conical center bumps from the coils, but these seem to work well.

Very nice! So you got rid of the factory rear trd fox with reservoir? How is the ride with the winch and stealth bumper after the eibachs were put in?

    Looks good

Yeah, that was a tough call, as the stroke length is the same on both the piggyback factory and aftermarket shocks, but the body is longer on the new remote res, which puts the actual travel in just the right spot to work in conjunction with the rear coils and extended bumpstops.
After the install the ride is AMAZING. I was suspicious that the shocks would need to be revalved for all the added weight (6-700 lbs total), but the absorbers and springs sync up perfectly for plush on and off road handling.

At full bump, there is about 1/4" of chrome showing above the rubber shaft doughnut. After this past weekend's run, there was dirt/mud in the same spot, while the rest of the shaft was clean, so seems to be ideal. I bet that a hard drop off of a tall rock or ledge would compress a little farther, but that's what the doughnut is for.

So it does look that way, however the adjuster ring is still below the max height recommended by Eibach, and there is an interior collar that extends up into the bottom wind of the coil to help retain it. I tried running it lower, but that reduced preload on the coil to the extent that it would have been much MORE likely to pop out when the rear end was at full droop. As I said, we extensively tested both the front and rear on a fairly tricky trail with some seriously deep off camber ruts, and everything performed better than hoped. Good eye, though!
