Apologies if this has a thread, and I missed finding it... Has anyone here successfully relocated the 2022+ Backup Camera [the fancy one that comes with the MTM on the ORP] ?

I know it is a different camera than 2021 and older, and all the relocation kits out there make a point of stating that they DO NOT work with the 22+ MTM Camera.

Reason for asking is, I just got my Westcott hitch mount tire carrier installed, and even though its the side mount, not center mount, it does block the camera view quite a bit. I realize that if I move the camera, the lines will be wrong... which is fine as I just want to see whats back there.

My thought is to figure out what exactly the connectors are at the camera, and fab an extension harness to reconnect the camera from wherever I end up putting it. Right now, under the "Spoiler" above the rear window, or mounted off the rear bar of the roof rack are leading candidates...

Short answer is no. But I have that system on my "22 ORP. I'm guessing that it would mess up not just the rear view but also the "Bird's Eye" view the system provides since it's a compilation of all 4 cameras and some graphic representations of the truck. How does that view look? That's anybody's guess how the system would handle that and I doubt there would be any sort of recalibration available. It is what it is and I'm thinking "Can of Worms" thoughts.
