Blinker on driver side stays on

I got a 98 4runner and the passenger blinker went bad I put a new one in it and b4 it went I seen my driver side one was staying solid and stayed that way once I fix the passenger side and all the lights work but the driver side stays solid when I turn my lights on when I turn my lights off and use the blinker all my lights flash lights tag light flashes everything dashboard all flashes with the left turn single but the right one works just fine at all times just the driver side stay solid with lights on and does not flash or nothing front and back blinker stays solid and will not flash when the lights are on anyone know why

Please do not confuse the marker lights which are next to the headlights with your turn signals which are in the bumper.

You have a short somewhere. You need to figure out why the left turn signal is always getting 12v.
