Any Recommendations for sunshade for the windshield? I tried to buy some at a regular store but they were too big. Wondering if anyone knows of brands that fit?

I have used weathertech for other cars and they fit great. They are easy to put up and take down, fill the whole window and the fit is so good, I don’t even have to lower the sun visors to hold it in place. They are a bit spendy compared to Walmart specials but I think they are worth it on a nice vehicle.

Thank you! I was actually looking into those but it is quite pricey. I'm sure it's worth it though.

Does anyone know if there are any troubles with 5th gen Sun visors. There is a big problem with the 2nd gen Tacoma’s visors. If you use them to hold your sun shade, they will eventually wear out, and start drooping really bad. They are not cheap to replace s is my first 4Runner.

21$ at the Toyota Dealer. Made for the 4Runner and fits perfectly. Closed cell foam to block out like 98% of the heat. Not a gap of light comes through

Old thread revival.. my 2018 4runner, I bought new back in 2018, has droopy sun visors.

My 2011 taco, bought new in 2012, does not have droopy sun visors.

Both been using the windshield shade from cover craft since purchase of vehicle... my thoughts, "wtf toyota did you do to the 4runner visors ?!?!"

no issues so far...just over 4 years

and for the OP's question, I got mine from the Toyota dealership...pretty sure its a covercraft. think I paid maybe 50 bucks....a bit much but after spending $30 something large on a vehicle I plan to drive almost forever, figured I'd protect the interior.
