    I know there was a face lift in 06, but will an 05 fender fit on a 06 4Runner or has anyone tried it?

    It will physically fit, youll just have to consider the change in trim piece shape under the headlights, gap under the grille, and fogs/turns.

    Actually, I believe the fenders are still the same from 03 to 09. Only the headlights and grill changed. The headlight update is what caused the trim piece you are referencing to change.
