Please Help/ check engine & oil light + engine sound

I traveled about 3hrs away to buy a 04 4runner

when we test drove it the vehicle ran great and it drove good on the way back but as we got closer to home the oil light popped on and eventually the engine light popped on and a sound from the engine started

I took it to an garage today and was told I needed the gas cap fixed and the timing solenoid changed I got that done and my oil checked which they said there was no problem with

Literally when I got home tonight the check engine light just popped back on and the oil light too and the sound from the engine never went away

I will send photos of all the codes and a video of everything tomorrow I really hope someone is able to help me out I have spent most of my money on the vehicle and really need it

V8 or V6?

Yes please post codes, and if at all possible a good audio of the engine noise, or at least a very good description.

The first code I got was for the valve timing solenoid which was fixed

went back today and the reader recommended to fix the oil control valve and the code P0012

but I still have this knocking sound going on
