1990 Manual 3.0L V6 short block recommendation

    Considering buying a manual that needs a new engine (and maybe a new transmission). Can't find an OEM short block, so wondering what the options are. Would appreciate recommendation please.

    Do the 3.4 swap. It's the most common.

    I agree, even if you could find an oem short block swapping the 3.4 is just better. More power, more reliable, similar fuel economy, and more people who are familiar with that engine.
