    I was looking to lift my 2013 4runner 2.5 inches using 5100 and ome spring but I’m confuse on either using 2884 or 2885 cause different websites say different thing saying 884 give you 2 inch and another say 2.5 other say 885 give you 2.5 and other say 3 so please help

    Until an expert member comment as far as I understand;

    You should be able to use the stock springs and Bilstien5100 with its top clip to achieve 2.5in front lift. In rear you can use Bilstien5100 with a 2in spacer on top of the stock springs. In that set up all you need is Bilstien5100 shocks all around and 2in spacer.

    Another way is with out increasing the spring pre-load clip one can use a 884 coil for 2.5in lift or 885 coil for 3in lift. One can use the pre-load clip on Bilstien5100 with OME 884 coils for more height.

    For rear one can use 889 coils instead of using a spacer on top of stock spring.

    Many shops say you can use stock spring with Bilstien5100 without having to spend extra money unless you have additional weight.

    Hey I have direct experience with this setup, I think you're off a bit. OME 2884 (OME-884X) are stock load lift springs and provide 3" lift. With these springs, front Bilstein 5100's are set to stock/lowest 0" spring seat groove, the springs do the lift not the shock even though it's adjustable. The adjustable height settings go up to 2.5" but that's with OEM springs. I've been all other this forum, even created my own threads on the subject. I've been highly recommended to not lift 5100's from 0" with 2884, or especially medium load 2885 or higher because you'll get a harsh ride and top out your suspension travel.
    Cheers

    Dobinson's 302's, in teal, 5100's set on the lowest setting. (thats what I have. :) ) And I went with a CornFed 1" rear spacer so I know that I'm getting exactly 1" of lift. I get a lot of complements on the results. I had Dobinsons 599 rear springs in teal that said they offered 1"-1.25" of lift, but it was more like 1.5" after measuring. My vehicle is stock weight.

    start off by taking measurements of how your truck currently sits. center hub to the fender at all four wheels and then work your numbers from there.
