After lots of back and forth with 3D printing and trying to make something work, I settled on stuffing a 3-inch Baja Designs Pod in the stripped housing. I was really excited to discover a 3-inch pod would fit perfectly inside the fog housing. My original plan was to stuff it in, 3D print a new bezel and secure the pod light from the hole in the back of the housing. Of course nothing ends up the way you plan, so I cut some bottom out and actually have the light mounted to the bumper itself. Overall, its not perfect, but hopefully inspires some other people.

You can use a heat gun around the edge of the fog lamp to soften the glue and pull it apart. Inside, its easy to remove some screws to pull out the projector. The 3inch pod fits nice and snug in the housing & I wanted to secure it inside by some mounting system out the back, but I needed a long screw and fitment just wasnt working. Instead I had to cut the bottom and mount it to the bumper. I was set on using the fog housing because it supports the turn signal and keeps everything in place.
I cut the lens using a dremel and painted everything black. If I was better at CAD, I would totally 3D print a bezel instead of cutting the lens.
