If they start balking just say 'I don't think you are dealing in Good Faith' and ask for their Claims Manager.

Great person to work with. He is a Tacoma forum member but not on the 4runner forum. I'll get his Ebay page link. He has many different decals for Toyotas and just finished these. I think I have his first set. I purchased both the Red TRD and Black TRD letters with black Off Road letter since the premium TRD has the red stitching in the seat and I also had a little red in my 2000 white Prerunner. Just waiting for them to set up for 30 more minutes and I will post a picture.

Like I mentioned in another post I opted for the Red in the TRD.

Looks awesome! The red really pops in your rig. I think I'd like to go with the all black. So that's just vinyl? How much did it run you.

How do you like your Predator steps? I had a set on my Tacoma and liked them but they are expensive so I thought I'd get your opinion on the 4Runner model before ordering. Are they useful for stepping out of your 4Runner as well as getting in? Thanks.

Sorry. When I picked up my Tacoma in April I noticed the license plate bracket was put on crooked. I requested they replace the lower valance where they messed up the holes. They did. Not your fault the detail guy rushed the job and then tried to hide his mistake behind the bracket. They should stand behind it. Or at least fix it. I was lucky with the Tacoma because the lower valance was a separate black plastic piece that was easily replaced and didn't need to be painted. You will have to decide what's best for you but your dealer should stand up and help.

I love the look of the Predator steps. But if they didn't already come on the truck, I would of opted for a set of rock sliders. For the price they cost you can get a pretty nice pair of sliders which will give the truck alot more protection. I'm 6'1 so they don't help me in or out, but pretty sure the wife and kids use them. First week I had them I bumped the front of my lower leg, since then I have gotten used to them being there.

I install new TRD Cold Air Intake this weekend. Took me about a 2 hours. I went pretty slow when do the wiring reroute, didn't want to mess anything up. Only drove it around the block so far, but seems to have alittle more pep in the step. Hoping to get better millage as others have posted with it.

Finally did my ceiling net to correctly interface with the Big Sky shotgun rack.

Paracord, a 28" x 28" cargo net, a Niteize camjam, and about 28 small black zip ties. About $20 in stuff. Nice and tight to the ceiling. You can do the same thing without the shotgun rack by using FJ Cruiser D rings to replace the "coat hooks" in the cargo area and slinging the paracord through them.

Did any model of the 2014+ come with dark gray / black A, B, C, pillars and headliner or was every model tan? I'd love to get rid of all the tan and match it to the door panels if possible but I don't want to paint it. Would rather swap with all OEM parts if possible.

I am not sure what Rich will price them for but I would guess some where between $15-$20. He will have them set up on his Ebay site this week. He also has a Facebook page called "Tacoma Vinyl decals" and his Ebay store is

The 5th gen 4Runner has been out since 2010 and is largely unchanged. While there have been cosmetic changes the 5th Gen 4Runner still has the same engine, drivetrain, suspension and interior. I am saying this because when you search chances are good that that thread from 2013 is still applicable today. So, what is the best way to search the forum to find what you need fast?

    Step 1. Go to google
Step 2. Type "5th Gen 4Runner" and then your question.

With that said, I googled how to delete the DRL, Useful temporary until I start adding Custom LED inside the headlight housing.. ie halo/demon eyes switchback strips. but for now. the delete of the DRL to run my Switchback turn signal as the DRL looks a whole lot better IMO.

Oh, And as you can see. Be very very careful changing out the turn signal bulbs they do and will come off inside the housing. Learned this the hard way.

ALL 2014-18 models come with tan upper, some come with Tan lower to match, but all come with tan upper. You might want to consult with a Custom shop for what you are looking to do. But that can and will be pretty costly.

    oh the list....!
I have consistently run Amsoil in my 2011 3.6R Outback for now 280Kmi. Are you sitting down? My typical oil change is.... wait for it.. 25-35K miles... I usually get an oil analysis done (for 11 whole dollars) at about 15K (if I think to do it), and then right before I do the oil change. Results have been great, and the owner of the service says that he would put my results up against ANY shorter oil change interval folks. BTW, this subie regularly performs Yeoman's duty with our .3mile/ 350ft vertical climb driveway, it has pulled (and will continue to) a 4Klb trailer hundreds of miles without a complaint. My '86 toyota Hilux (22RE) actually went to COLD IDLE in the SUMMER in AUSTIN,TX in stop and go traffic when I put amsoil in it. Do I believe in it? You bet your A$$!!. Do I sell it? Nope. What do I think the trade off for synthetics is? If you, like myself, drive several thousand miles a year (like- between 30-48K), then PURE synthetics are $$$$ in the bank. Why? because it lasts longer, and therefore you spend less time and $$ changing your oil, or waiting to have it done. If you only drive a few thousand miles/ year, then maybe not. However, I would say that it is awfully cheap insurance. :)

Bought my 17 LE a few weeks ago, plasti-dipped some chrome, color matched the badges, and began vinyl wrapping the remainder of the chrome. Now I just need a day off to finish... Enlight42.jpg

Looks awesome. I did a similar thing with my 4Runner LE in black. Love your white vinyl. Looks really nice. I vinyl wrapped the center front bumper but plasti dipped the upper grill and side things. I would like to redo the building. Upper bumper in vinyl so the upper and lower match. Not sure I have the skills for that though. 0ff77646a56aba85c26b972c5ed1796d_33e542ae1f3b7e53b46ef79e5eba4da2b05cc716.jpga50e2f257e54fbd28a83a7ebf8a92fec_4171e7c5c5e454ffc53c36f9b6e21337d745cc71.jpg9777032a0ece17b0629f6a68e3b8fc47_2044fc9811c06d1890c57197f2815705ad6853e6.jpg

I really like what you did here. I never liked the LE because the grille is so different. But if I had your vision, that's the model I would have bought. I would have liked the all-time 4wd for my wife, and also pearl white is my favorite color.

    Really nice.

Thanks! I love the all black too and yours look nice. The vinyl isn't perfect but I have plenty to be able to redo it when I have more time. To get it perfect I'll have to remove the bumper cover and take it apart.
Thanks! I would rather have the TRD Pro front end but I like all the interior options with the LE, and the blizzard pearl is awesome.
