    Welcome.
    Kinda depends on what you do with your truck.
    I.e. If you just want stock height in the rear on you drive on the street, front spacers are fine. If you off road a lot, tons of options for front /back suspension lifts out there. Many threads on the different kinds of those. And if you pack your truck will a lot of stuff, etc. Many questions to your general question.

    Just went down the rabbit hole myself myself a couple months ago.

    1" cornfed level 255/75 yoko at trd replica wheels
    I just did a cornfed 1". Looks great and for what this 4Runner will be doing it'll work fine. Easy install and it's pretty affordable. $50-$60 I think it was.
    Didn't seem to affect handling at all, it may have messed with mileage but I did it too soon to really know. I think I put it on with 200 miles on the odo.
