    Hi Folks,

I’m new to this forum, but have owned 4Runners since 2014.
A question for the group, my 2018 SR5 needs to have it’s tire pressure monitor sensors replaced. I would like to have this done next week, when my winter tires get changed to my summer tires. Looking online, I see dealer sites saying that these sensors should only be done by dealers. Let’s say I’m suspicious of this and wanted to ask you good folks if my local tire center can do the job and if these sensors I found on Amazon are worth getting (Amazon says they will fit my 2018).

    Thanks,
    Bill

Just about any tire shop can install and program TPMS sensors nowadays. Even the mom and pop shop in my little town has the capability to do it.

I got three of mine replaced at American Tire on my last rotation. $60 each.
