    Hey everyone,

Did some searching and only found results for 4th gens, is there any fix for when your wiper starts to miss the top and bottom at the center of the wiper stroke?

I'm used to wipers going bad and missing everywhere, not perfectly clean followed by missing partway through their swipe.

It's hard to get a good picture but this shows it reasonably well... look at the edge of where the blade travels:

Clean and sharp line with no streaks, but down the center it lifts away.

Is this just a matter of a new wiper?

For reference truck is 2 years old and lives in extreme dust conditions in the desert SSW of Phoenix.

I think two years is a pretty good lifespan for a wiper blade. I'm usually happy if they last a solid year. I'd probably just put a new blade on it and see if that fixes it.

I average a little longer than a year out of wipers that rarely get used and also don't see a shitload of UV because it's parked indoors. Especially one tucked up and away like that.

It was just odd to see it "fail" in this manner. Usually it just turns into an utter mess and flings streaks everywhere instead of getting lazy on one section of the run.

    Ordered up some Trico replacements.
