That was kind of what I was thinking. I not have heavy duty front coils, they are the ones that came with the kit, which are rated at 600 lbs.

    You should be fine then.

I haven't done this personally, but have read about people doing this. It seems fairly common for those wanting to maintain their front lift height when adding a bumper/winch.

    Greetings everyone,

The time has come and I’m ready to lift my ‘23 ORP w/ KDSS. after months of research, I narrowed down everything with 95% certainty but I have some questions for the more experienced members of the group. I tried finding if other members had something similar but I couldn’t anything.

The current I set up I’m planning and what I worked out with the shop is:

    1. 3” front, 2” rear Eibach Pro-Truck stage 1 Lift (cornered spacer to achieve the difference)
    2. 285/70r17 BFG KO2
    3. Treaty Oak’s KDSS Spacer
    4. Panhard Correction Kit from Eimkeith.com

Do you recommend I add SPC UCA’s or am I fine with OEM? Eibach says it’s not necessary but with the extra lift of the corn fed spacer, would the SPC UCA’s be better?

Also, is the cornfed spacer worth it/reliable? Or should I just stick with the max limits of the Eibach and use OEM UCA’s?

My main goal is more clearance when I hit mild trails and fire breaks, and reducing nose dive. This is my daily driver and my driving is 90% on-road, 10% off-road.

    Thank you in advance!

I'm in no way sponsored by DRKDSS but the products from him are really good and offer high value.

KDSS has a funny way of affecting how a 4R leans. treat my experience as anecdotal but i don't run spacers at the corners to keep the truck level. KDSS likes to balance things when the suspension is exercised so I'm usually pretty level after a good chunky off road session. the DRKDSS KDSS control harness is another way to get the KDSS system to balance things out.

Considering the eimketh panhard kit - it's a great kit, well designed, and widely used. you do have to rely on someone who is a very good welder for it to be reliable. consider the bolt on panhard kit from DRKDSS. completely bolt on and is very strong due to how it is designed to use the factory panhard mount.

I think you should forego the spacers and just go with the max height the Eibachs will give you.

I also think you should get the SPC UCA's at this height even though you can drive it with stock UCA's. You will not be able to get your caster numbers that in spec unless you go with an aftermarket UCA at that lift height. Stock UCA's at that lift height will make you wander on the road and the steering wheel will feel very light and twitchy.

i should note that i don’t use spring spacers but do run KDSS spacers in the rear.

I suggest getting the UPCs. I had the Stage 2 Eibach kit on my 4R on stock UPCs and followed Eibach advice as well. However, to get the best results when it comes to alignment and highway drivability the UPCs make a difference. I added UPCs recently and got it aligned next day, made my commute much more comfortable. If you're going to have the whole front end worked on, might as well put the UPCs on as well, cry once mentality. Might be ignorant take, but that's just me.

I have the Stage 1 with upgraded rear 2” Icon springs. In my opinion, based on what the OP said will be his usage no hardcore wheeling involved. All that is needed is the Stage 1 Kit and upgrade the UPC’s only because you’re going 3” up front. All the other stuff, Spacers, Panhard etc..isn’t really needed, in my opinion and I don’t consider myself an expert. Get sliders or Skids instead.

I feel like Eibach stating that stock UCA's work on a 2.75-in lift is pretty misleading. I think most people have the experience that you did, that it will physically work, but is far from ideal or correct.

I have the 2.0 kit, and I'm planning on running it at its lowest setting of 2 in. Even with that, I'm debating whether I want to spring for the UCAs as well. I really didn't want to spend the money or deal with the install, but like you said, buy once cry once.

    Best way to describe it.

I went a whole year and half or ~11k miles before I broke down and bought UPCs. Had the UPCs installed, replaced the needle bearing w/ ECGS Bushing, and swapped out stock tires for 285s all at the same time.

Thank you everyone. Y’all are a big help. If I do Eibach 1 at highest settings (2.75”/1”), will that create a squat? I’ve read that the Factory rake is everywhere from 1”, 1.5” and 1.75”.

Or do you recommend 2.5” in front and 1” in rear?

Eibach told me if you set the clip second from the bottom the truck will sit level. I opted for a little rake so it’s set at the very bottom. So based on that it would seem if you went past the second “ring” from the bottom you’ll start having reverse rake or the “squat”

You won't be able to get 2.5" of front lift if you go with Eibach lift coils. Those front lift coils are 2.75" of lift minimum on the lowest setting.

However, you could get 2.5" of lift up front if you use your stock coils with the Eibach front adjustable shocks. Setting it on the highest setting will put you at 2.5" of front lift.

Factory rake is about 1.75". If you lift the front 1.75" higher than the back it will make your front and rear fender height even and the truck will appear level. Some people like this, some don't. Most people seem to go with the lift ratio of 1" higher in front than the back. So if you go 2.5" up front, then you'd want to go 1.5" of lift in back.

I have the Eibach Stage 2 kit (installed 7 weeks ago), and have the front set to max of 2” because I didn’t intend to replace my UCA. Eibach recommends not going any higher than 2.5” with this kit for stock UCA. Of course height is a bit addictive, lol. I ended up purchasing a pair of Ironman 4x4 UCSs which I’ve yet to install, and this should enable me to raise to 2.5” with least amount of stress on drive front end bits and tires. Since I will be using for off-roading, and will be adding weight to the back, I may end up swapping out the coils in back to raise another 1/2”, especially with adding a diff skid plate which reduced ground clearance a 1/4” or so.

Additionally, I’m also look at the DR KDSS kit. I will look at the spacer kit only for the rear (front not recommended anymore), the KDSS kit for the front (sway bar locking rings). Since I will raise the rear a bit more, I will probably end up getting the panhard bolt on kit from DR KDSS (easy enough to do myself in driveway).

Dobinson coils are a great alternative. They offer different height coils and even different springs ratings for added weight. I'm running dob coils and eibach shocks.
